Birmingham is where Seccuro Security Services Ltd was incorporated in 2018 and where the company is still run. Our registered office and operational management sit at Fairgate House, 205 Kings Road, Tyseley, in east Birmingham, close to the A45 Small Heath Highway and the Tyseley Energy Park. For a Birmingham client, this means the people who survey the site, write the assignment instructions and supervise the officers work in the same city.

Officers deployed on licensable activities hold the relevant SIA front-line licence. Our services in the city include static guarding, mobile patrols, keyholding and alarm response, and off-grid CCTV towers for construction and vacant sites.
The Birmingham commercial landscape
Birmingham’s commercial geography is unusually varied for one local authority area. The Colmore Business District around Colmore Row is the core office market, and its business improvement district has worked with venues on safety as bars and restaurants have grown in number. To the west, Brindleyplace, Paradise and the Westside area around Broad Street combine Grade A offices with the city’s busiest leisure and late-night streets. To the south-east, Digbeth mixes creative workspace, venues and former industrial buildings.
The largest construction programme is HS2 Curzon Street. Piling for the station foundations finished in early 2026, with more than 2,000 piles installed, and installation of precast platform beams has followed. The West Midlands Metro extension through Digbeth is being prepared alongside it. Nearby, the Smithfield regeneration of the former wholesale markets site is a long-term, phased joint venture between Birmingham City Council and Lendlease.
In east Birmingham, around our own office, the council’s East Birmingham Inclusive Growth Strategy and the green innovation district centred on Tyseley Energy Park cover a long-established industrial area between the A45 Coventry Road and the A41 Warwick Road. Many of the area’s works, yards and trade counters operate around the clock. Further out, the M6 at Gravelly Hill (junction 6) and the A38(M) Aston Expressway carry traffic into the city, with Fort Dunlop and the Erdington and Aston industrial areas close by.
Local security requirements
Birmingham sites often face several pressures at once: open city-centre frontages, high evening footfall, construction hoardings that change week by week, and vacant buildings awaiting redevelopment. When we scope a contract we look at:
- how the site changes over the programme (for construction, each phase can move gates and welfare);
- evening and weekend exposure near Broad Street, Digbeth and the Bullring area;
- whether any role is licensable as door supervision rather than security guarding;
- CCTV obligations under UK GDPR and the ICO’s video surveillance guidance;
- keyholder arrangements and lone-working risk for alarm calls out of hours.
We do not publish crime statistics on this page. Clients wanting local data can view neighbourhood figures on police.uk, and we review them with you during the site survey.
How we mobilise and manage contracts here
A manager visits each Birmingham site, agrees assignment instructions with you, briefs the officers assigned to the contract and carries out supervisory visits during the term. Mobile patrol vehicles are marked and satellite-tracked, and officers record patrols digitally, so you receive a report for each visit. The service is supported by our 24-hour control room. Mobilisation timescales are agreed for each site; for urgent cover, ask about emergency security cover.
Questions
Is Seccuro actually based in Birmingham?
Yes. Companies House lists our Tyseley address, postcode B11 2AA, as the registered office, under company number 11705595.
Can you secure a construction site near Curzon Street or Digbeth?
Yes. City-centre sites usually need a gatehouse officer during working hours for access control and delivery checks, then patrols, CCTV towers or scaffold alarm cameras overnight. We set the mix after a site survey and adjust it as the programme moves gates and hoardings.
Do you supply door supervisors for Broad Street venues?
Work at licensed premises during licensable hours may require SIA Door Supervisor licences, so we assess every venue and event individually and tell you what licence the role needs before we quote.
Can you respond to alarms at our premises in east Birmingham?
Yes. Our keyholding and alarm response service holds your keys securely, attends activations, checks the premises and issues an incident report. Attendance times are agreed with you in the contract; we do not quote fixed figures before we have assessed the site.
