Accessibility Statement
We want everyone to be able to use this website. It has been designed to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we have done
- Semantic HTML with landmarks, a logical heading structure and a “skip to main content” link.
- Full keyboard operation, including the navigation menus, with visible focus indicators.
- Colour contrast that meets or exceeds AA ratios for text and interface elements.
- Forms with visible labels, clear required-field marking, and error messages linked to their fields and announced to screen readers.
- Text that resizes and reflows to 400% without loss of content, and layouts that work from 320px wide.
- Animations that respect the “reduce motion” setting in your operating system.
- Descriptive alternative text for informative images. Decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
Known limitations
- Some linked third-party documents, such as government PDFs, may not be fully accessible. We do not control their content.
- The coverage map is supplemented by text lists of every location, which give the same information.
