Seccuro provides security guarding, reception security, mobile patrols, keyholding, CCTV monitoring and construction site security across the region. We have no office in the South East, and officers are assigned to each site.
The South East commercial landscape
The region wraps around London and is organised by radial motorways. The M4 corridor through Slough, Reading and Bracknell hosts technology offices and a growing cluster of data centres. The M40 runs to Oxford and Banbury, the M3 to Basingstoke and Southampton, and the M23 to Crawley and Gatwick Airport. Milton Keynes, on the M1, is a major office and distribution centre.
Kent is shaped by cross-Channel freight. The Port of Dover and the Channel Tunnel terminal at Folkestone handle large volumes of roll-on roll-off traffic using the M20 and A2/M2, and Ashford and Dartford host logistics parks serving that flow. Along the Solent, the Solent Freeport includes tax sites around Southampton Water, such as Fawley Waterside and ABP land at Redbridge, with Portsmouth International Port listed as a customs site. Southampton is also a major container and cruise port.
Construction activity is spread across the region, from city-centre regeneration in Southampton, Portsmouth and Reading to housing-led growth around Milton Keynes, Bicester and Aylesbury, and laboratory development around Oxford.
Local security requirements
Common requirements in the region include:
- Access control at multi-tenant business parks, with officers working alongside electronic systems.
- Perimeter and trailer-park patrols where freight vehicles are parked overnight.
- Lock and unlock and alarm response for retail and trade units spread across several towns, which a single mobile patrol route can sometimes cover.
- Phased construction security that changes as sites move from groundworks to fit-out.
Where CCTV is used, roles under UK GDPR and the ICO’s video surveillance guidance are agreed in writing before installation.
How we mobilise and manage contracts here
We survey the site, agree the scope and prepare assignment instructions, then assign officers holding the relevant SIA front-line licence. The start date is agreed with you; we do not promise travel or response times in advance.
Patrol logs, incident reports and supervisory checks feed into contract reviews at agreed intervals. Short-notice requests go through emergency security cover, with availability confirmed for each site.

Questions
Which South East counties do you cover?
We provide services across Kent, Surrey, East and West Sussex, Hampshire, Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire, including Milton Keynes.
Can you secure a trailer park or yard near the Channel ports?
Our guarding and mobile patrol services can be configured for trailer parks and yards, covering gate control, vehicle checks, perimeter inspections and incident reporting. For larger open yards, security dog handling or remote CCTV monitoring may be added following a risk assessment.
Do you provide multi-site patrols across several towns?
Yes. Mobile patrols in marked vehicles can visit several sites on a planned route, with patrols recorded digitally and a report produced for each visit. Route design depends on site locations, visit frequency and any lock-up or alarm response duties.
Can you combine reception security with out-of-hours keyholding?
Yes. Many business parks use reception officers during the working day and keyholding with alarm response outside those hours. We agree handover procedures, key control and escalation contacts so responsibilities are clear. Keys are held securely and their use is recorded.
