North Wales stretches from the English border at Deeside and Wrexham along the coast to Conwy, Gwynedd and Anglesey. The east of the region is closely linked to the Cheshire and Merseyside economy, while the west combines tourism, port activity and energy projects.

Seccuro provides security guarding, mobile patrols, keyholding, alarm response, remote CCTV monitoring and construction site security across North Wales. We do not have an office in Wales, and officers are assigned to each site.

The North Wales commercial landscape

The A55 North Wales Expressway is the main east-west route, running from the Chester area past Flint, Rhyl, Colwyn Bay, Conwy and Bangor across Anglesey to Holyhead. The A483 links Wrexham with Chester and the A55 to the north and with Oswestry to the south.

Deeside, in Flintshire, is one of the largest concentrations of manufacturing in Wales. Airbus’s site at Broughton is described by the company as a global centre of excellence for wing manufacturing, and the surrounding industrial parks host engineering, food, paper and logistics businesses. Wrexham Industrial Estate is another large manufacturing location, close to the A483.

In the west, Holyhead is a major ferry port for Irish Sea routes. The Anglesey Freeport, one of two Freeports in Wales, was developed jointly by the Isle of Anglesey County Council and Stena Line, which owns Holyhead Port, with a customs zone planned at Holyhead and other sites on the island. Projects linked to the island’s energy ambitions may add construction and laydown activity over time.

Local security requirements

Typical considerations in North Wales:

  • Industrial sites with their own safety rules and inductions, which officers complete before deployment.
  • Long distances along the A55, which affect how mobile patrol routes are planned.
  • Exposed coastal locations where weather affects camera and lighting choices. Off-grid CCTV towers are designed for sites without mains power.
  • Welsh-language signage and communication may be expected on some public-facing sites; tell us at the survey stage.

How we mobilise and manage contracts here

After a site survey, we agree scope and assignment instructions, assign officers holding the relevant SIA front-line licence and agree a mobilisation date with you. We do not quote travel or response times in advance; alarm response arrangements are agreed in the contract.

Patrol records, incident reports and supervisory checks are reviewed centrally, with contract reviews at agreed intervals. Short-notice cover can be requested through emergency security cover.

Do you provide security in Deeside and Wrexham?

Yes. We provide guarding, mobile patrols, keyholding and CCTV services for industrial and commercial sites in Deeside, Wrexham and across Flintshire and Wrexham county.

Do you work for Airbus or other major manufacturers in the area?

We do not claim existing clients at Broughton or other named manufacturers. Our guarding and keyholding services can be configured for manufacturing and supplier premises, including access control at shift changes and cover during shutdowns. Duties are written around your site rules.

Can you cover sites on Anglesey and in Gwynedd?

Yes. For western sites, we often recommend a mix of remote CCTV monitoring, camera towers and planned patrols, with static officers where the risk justifies it.

Can you secure a vacant industrial unit between tenants?

Our vacant property security service covers scheduled inspections, security and utility checks, lock and unlock and alarm response. Each inspection is recorded, and emergency remedial repairs can be coordinated through approved contractors. Inspection frequency is agreed with you and your insurer.
